hey I'm Charlie, I'm from Chicago and currently live in Philly and work at a econ/ai/progress studies lab. Before I was building an events/social media app for a year that failed and before that I was doing trading in Chicago. I've been into effective altruism for ~8 years and started the ea club at northwestern and just helped start the penn club back up. I'm pretty morally agnostic.

I like music (wide variety but especially like to dance), humor, friends, basketball. Also pretty nerdy and down to deep dive history, stem, philosophy pmuch whenever. A fun fact about me is that my dad is jewish (athiest) and my mom is german/lutheran and her dad was flying in the nazi airforce (Luftwaffe) during ww2.
