Hey all! I'm John or Broomhead. Eco-luddite turned somewhat technological optimist from San Francisco, moving into AI safety from a climate policy and community organizing background.

Hobbies include: conflict mediation, caving, building big art, playing in a band, helping rebuild my mom's house.

Content: fairly call-to-action/policy based. I'm interested in productive outlets for reasonable anxiety. This is all with an eye towards movement building. Requests: I'd love feedback on whether to go in the public persona direction that includes a lot of AI safety content, or the "this account is about AI safety" direction.
